Another day full of gifts. I don’t question no more. I just say thank you. Many times, over and over, I say thank you for what comes my way.
Today the new Jodi Picoult book, Sing Your Way Home was delivered to my door. It’s a gift from a very dear writer friend who shares my love of books. I don’t often read fiction but I can’t wait to get into this one. Also today I picked up one I had on order at the library called Any Human Heart. The movie of this book was aired just recently on KCTV. I am interested in how this one is set up because it’s done as journal entries. Always intrigues me those kinds of books. I’m always wondering how to piece mine together.
Sessions with clients went extremely well and left me feeling full of life which is another thing I consider as a gift in my day. This was followed by one of my writing dates in a coffee shop where I was met by a fellow writer I haven’t seen for some time now. It was so wonderful to see her and to sit in each other’s presence and share our writing energy and space. It was another life-giving part of my day I thoroughly enjoyed.
More calls and emails, inquiring about my counselling service and my journaling classes, new clients filling in empty time slots, each one of these contacts, gifts added to my day. Gratitude abounds as I head to my soaker tub with one of my new books before turning in for the night.
