Traveling with Gratitude

For two plus years we have been setting the intention to take a trip to a specific destination.

We’ve been dreaming, planning, contemplating, anticipating, tasting, feeling, and holding the vision, while doing everything we could to accumulate enough air miles to get there.

You see, sometimes people come into our lives and touch us in such a way that leaves absolutely no doubt in our mind that we must meet again someday.

And, even if we had no idea how we could afford it or how it would come to materialize, we held on to a knowing that a greater force out there would work with us to make it happen some way.

Its happening and we’ve got the pinch marks to prove it. It’s not a dream. It’s true. We’re going to Louisiana, and maybe even all the way to Georgia!

We leave April 15th to begin our travels to visit with our long time American writer friends and we return home on April 26th.

Ten days filled with the opportunity to reconnect with people who carved a huge place in our hearts when they blessed us with their visit in our home almost 5 years ago.

We have been gifted with our air fare, our hotel rooms and a car while we’re away. Our hearts are filled with so much gratitude that we’ve got a whole different understanding of the saying “my cup runneth over.”

The Universe provides, often in unexpected ways!

Thanks Phillis and Paula for dropping in and leaving your comment. I always appreciate those who leave words.

I've started the countdown. I'm counting sleeps now.
