It was a good birthday. A few things laying heavy on my mind, but otherwise, a good, somewhat laid back kind of day. Only one more sleep at home before heading out on our 10 day holiday!
Tomorrow morning will be an early start. I head downtown to see two clients from 8:30 to 11.
As soon as I’m done with those two counselling sessions, I will scoot back home to finish packing a few odds and ends.
We’re hoping that by noon, we’ll be rolling down the highway and heading across the mountains for what is about a five hour drive to Calgary where we’ll be spending the night at my daughter Jody’s.
Saturday afternoon we’ll be cruising through the air waves as we travel, first to Salt Lake City, where we’ll jump off one plane and boarding another to take us to our final destination.
New Orleans, hold on to your britches. Ready or not, here we come!

Pumpkin on the other hand, is not a happy camper.
