Writing Your Authentic Self Retreat

The retreat has come and gone and what a retreat it was. Participants who took part and made it what it was, rated the retreat a 10 out of 10. What more could a person ask for.

The feedback was very positive all around but even better than that, the absolute best is to have been witness to the transformation and growth that took place, to have been honoured with the dynamic stories of these women’s lives each of them unique and different, yet each one so very close to our own.

We laughed, we cried, we shared, we danced, we ate, we walked bare feet in the cool clay of the river’s edge, we journeyed solo and as a group, we sang, we drummed and we wrote about our authentic selves.

For me, it was magical. It was living a life time dream of doing this kind of work. At one point I stopped and asked myself – who am I to be doing this kind of work – me, the person who lived with the core belief that my words where not important and that I wouldn’t be heard.

Yet here I am giving workshops and weekend retreats to help others find their voice, write their words, and share their truth. And to that I say – I love it. I absolutely love it! Bring it on – I’m ready for more!

Looking at the pictures has brought tears to my eyes ... of happiness for the light in the eyes of those who attended and of sadness for those of us who would have loved to be there but just couldn't make it. What an amazing location, Annette!!! I can see the energy of the place and the participants swirling together and creating magic!! Thank you so much for sharing the pictures!

Namaste, Paula

Thank you so much for reading and for leaving your comments.

It's always find it interesting to see who's name appears here and even greater to read your words.

Good to hear from you Linda.
