More Words

I’m doing a lot more writing lately. Co-authoring with my partner in crime you might say. She always wants to throw in a word or two of her own to add to the mix of thoughts that race across my mind and end up on the screen. As if there’s not enough going on in my writing mind already.

In fact I could be sitting on my toushe with my journal on my lap or my eyeballs fixed on that computer screen all day long if I listened to the persistent urges that are constantly knocking at my door. Write! Write! WRITE! Alright already! I hear you!

Just how I’m supposed to write everything that keeps tumbling into my consciousness is what I haven’t figured out yet. It’s like popping popcorn in a pot without a lid and trying to catch every kernel before they hit the floor. It’s darn near impossible. (And my friend Barbara who’s attempted this popcorn thing would attest to that.) There are so many writing projects stewing around in my head that it’s a constant juggling act just to figure out what I’ll focus on each day.

Maybe it all has to do with working on getting rid of some residual sludge of negative beliefs that have been embedded at a body level. This could very well be the major culprit which has kept me from living my life at the level of authenticity I would like to see. Maybe some of the work I’ve been doing around that is dislodging an even bigger and more urgent need to write. It feels like things have to spill out of me. In fact some days it feels like it may never stop and if that’s the case then I may need all the help I can get no matter what form it comes in. I wonder how fast Pumpkin could type?

Author & co-author, side kicks in crime! Each of you looks deep in thought, so let her rip!
A "cluttered mind" about drives mE nuts too so working with it is one way through it.
Scatter those thoughts all over the place as much as you need to. They really only have to make sense to you & Pumpkin!
Take care going into another year together my friend.
Pumpkin, as for you, keep an eye on her for us.
always, B.

Sure looks familiar ... cat in lap with paws on the keyboard. In fact, Boo Kitty says "Alright, Pumpkin! Way to go!" I envy the words trying to pour out of you, Annette. My wish for 2010 is that words flow easily from me again, too. And this picture seems to inspire me!
Miss you guys,
Paula

I love the picture of Pumpkin in your lap. Very similar in color to my Snicker kitty that I lost a few years ago, she wanted a lot of lap time also.
Enjoyed your words once again, especially thinking about catching popping corn. Your writing continues to inspire and I enjoy reading them.
