Isn’t she the cutest (huge) cat you ever saw? Now doesn’t that make you wish that when you come back in a second life (if there is such a thing) that you come back as a fur ball on four legs and all you have to do is to command your staff around to serve your needs. We haven’t even finished making this our home but Pumpkin has settled in quite nicely with her FOUR favourite spots set up for her to curl up and perch herself on and watch the world go by.
As for me, I decided to attack the laundry room late yesterday so here we go again. Mess. Mess. Mess. Doing renovations works on the same principle as doing inner work to get rid of what doesn’t work and coming to some sort of resolution - it gets worse before it gets better. First thing I did was pull out the washer and dryer. Surprise! Shovel anyone? The appliances are only a little over a year old how could someone have accumulated so much stuff under there? Unless it was some distorted way of thinking of keeping the washer and dryer from vibrating their way out of there over time. Keep them high centered on a pile of sh...t!
So my plan is to finish that little project today so we can get the dirty laundry, the washer and dryer, the litter box and the 149 other things we already crammed into that corner back in there and out from around our kitchen table ASAP. My little note book where I write down my “to do” lists also says I’m going to attempt to pay Mom a visit, unpack a couple more boxes, work on my online course, pay some bills, bring my book back to the library, write, call Christine and Brenda, do some emails and whatever else pops in during the course of the day.
Un-huh! Nothing too much new on the home front. All I expect to do is squeeze 10 hours into 5. A fairly normal day in my self-created crazy world. And don’t I love it. Mind you sometimes I’m pretty tempted (if I had the knowledge how), to turn myself into a cat and curl up by the window and catch a few rays along with a few zzzzz’s.

Oh, to be as carefree as Pumpkin!! I am glad to see that she has adjusted well to her new home. Probably, as long as you two are there, she is okay with any place. Hang in there with the continuing renos.
Hugs, Paula
My suitcase is open to Pumpkin anytime she is ready to hop in for a snooze. They have a way of adjusting as long as they are with the people they love. Pumpkin is one cool lady!
Glad to read you are about ready for the holidays along with being dug in for the winter. I am sure if you look hard enough there is always one more thing that needs doing.......
Hugs with love,
Barbara
