The robins have arrived. They’ve been here for a few days now and they’ve

I look out my window this morning and what I see is a very frozen windshield on my car and a thermometer that says -7 which is rather on the cool side for robins and shorts if you ask me, but hey, if it works I’m game to start singing and to pull my shorts on too. In French there’s a saying that rhymes and goes like this: “le trois fais le mois”, which means the 3rd of the month makes the month weather wise. Tomorrow is “the” day. Let’s keep our fingers crossed it’s a dandy one, nice and sunny and warm. It’s time to move into summer!
Speaking about moving – we have accepted an offer on our house! There are some conditions to the sale of course but we’re pretty confident that it will sail right through to the end with no hiccups this time. The buyers are a young couple with three children and they really love the place. Knowing this, makes it a little easier to leave somehow.
Some of the conditions are to be removed by next Friday and the last one is going to be the sale of their house by the end of April which seems likely since the market is moving now and they’ve had some action on it already. Where to now? Some people have asked. “On to the next step in the journey”, we say. We’re once more stepping out and “Trusting”.
My workshop project is moving forward at a snail’s pace and I’m eyeballing the calendar with a queasy feeling in the pit of my stomach wondering how I’m ever going to meet that deadline of March 16th which may feel like a long time away for some people but it feels like it’s hanging at the end of my nose for me. I have a sneaking suspicion that next week I will be moving into my computer room in the basement, burrowing myself in and not coming out until I can resurface with a project intact. It’s all about moving in and moving on!

May I be the third in line to wish you "Congratulations!" on the sale of your house. You two are two courageous women. I admire your trust.
I too am so ready for Spring. Hey, how come you have robins and we don't?? We still have quite a bit of snow too. Hugs, Linda
Adding my "congrats" to everything! I can hear the laughter of those children now, echoing through your home with love and caring.
"Robins," how I remember them last year! One would sit on top of the Blue Spruce, looking much like a Christmas decoration!
Maybe now that Andree has busted out in shorts, spring will take a hint and do the same!
Keep treading water and sailing along! You can do it!
Blessings,
Barbara
