An Open Letter To:

The Creator

I have to learn to carry my camera with me. I went for a walk this morning and three, yes three, bald head eagles joined me. They were dancing in the sky, gliding back and forth as they circled around me. What magnificent birds they are.

Eagles have always been one of my totem animals. In fact I have an eagle on my gold chain which I always wear. In my medicine wheel book it says that Eagles represent the power of the Great Spirit, the connection to the Divine. “It is the ability to live in the realm of spirit, and yet remain connected and balanced within the realm of Earth.” Eagles remind us to take heart and to gather our courage for the Universe is presenting us with opportunities to soar.

I have to be attentive and to pay attention to all these messages as I make my way to the end of my course and the next step in my journey. I am taking steps. Everyday I do at least one thing which leads me in the direction I want to go. Each day I inch forward and hang on to the image of the eagle and how it soars. Today I am on my way to visit an employment counselor. Not to look for a job but to discuss if there are any financial programs or some kind of stepping stones I can rest my feet on as I make a transition from school to earning a living.

Yesterday it was meeting with some school personnel and members of the CPCA (Canadian Professional Counselors Association), tomorrow it’s another appointment with a different kind of counselor. And the next day, it’s something else. On and on my week goes, trying to keep focused on the present moment while taking steps to move into the future.

Thank you for sending me the eagles this morning. I will soar with them for the rest of the day as I set out to my appointment, then classes, then to my students in my journal writing class. Talk to you again soon.

Writefully Yours
Annette

Namaste dear friend for this writing. What a thrilling experience it must have been, watching the Eagle. I was not aware the Eagle was a part of your totem. I recently read that several were spotted high in the mountains along with a Golden Eagle
George loved the Eagle as well. I know he is soaring high above, maybe even in Canada!
Blessings heart, with all your endevors. I wish you nothing but good things ahead. You are one amazing person.
Love,
Barbara
